A definition: "Re-engineering" typically refers to a redesign of structures and processes. Beyond these, "Reinvention" focuses on the redesign of the social system - the ways of working, the interactions, and what people bring to the enterprise, in particular their commitment, passion and engagement. Reinvention always includes a culture realignment/change. To look beyond what seems possible, what has already been imagined - though understood - is not a matter of intelligence, analysis or expertise. In fact, the collective wisdom, experience, assumptions and beliefs combine to limit our field of vision, to define the invisible boundaries of our thinking, perception, and actions. In the course of our work, we challenge leaders to step outside these boundaries, to call into question the established realities of their industry and their organization. In doing so, they explore new horizons, expand their vision, and create a new field of action. In effect, they see with "new eyes" which enables them to reinvent themselves and their entire organization. Our approach includes and involves the organization in the new way of "seeing" in such a way that realizing the vision becomes possible in the desired time frame. The result is a transformation of who the organization sees itself to be, and of what it experiences it can do.
